Lake Hattie & Resort History
In the late 1800s, Lake Hattie was an important logging outpost in the area. Millions of board feet of Minnesota lumber flowed through the Lake Hattie dam on the lake's outlet.
The land that now makes up Tuck-A-Way Resort on the south end of the lake originally held a logging camp in the early 1900s.
In the 1920s, it was turned into a fish camp, and gradually became a resort.
